Man finds himself – A poetic-philosophical series about memory, attitude and silence.

This series unfolds an inner movement – from memory to posture and resonance to openness and silence. Not a step-by-step path, but a condensation of presence. A space in which people can find themselves.

A silent order in which forces do not separate, but carry.

The image unfolds like a silent diagram of being. Against a dark background lies a golden geometry that seeks less to explain than to remind. It speaks not of movement, but of relationship.

The focus is on a triple nested triangle, referred to as „The Mortal Trinity“Body, mind, and soul are not separate here, but intertwined. No one level dominates the others. The lines overlap in such a way that it becomes clear: human existence is not an additive system, but a field of tension that only exists in interaction. Humans do not appear as subjects above the world, but as nodes within a larger order.

A circle surrounds this inner trinity – not as a boundary, but as a resonance chamber. It holds without constricting. It suggests wholeness without defining it. The classical elements are located within it: fire and air on the upper level as forces of impulse, movement, and expansion; earth and water on the lower level as principles of condensation, form, and reception. The elements are integrated symmetrically, without moral judgement or hierarchy. Nothing is higher or purer than anything else. Everything is in silent equilibrium.

Above the circle is Light, below him Darkness – are depicted identically. Darkness does not appear as a deficiency, but as a mirror. Light and darkness are not opposites, but poles of the same principle. Only in their relationship does perception become possible. The lettering „THE LIGHT – IN THE LIGHT“ rahmt diese Ordnung wie eine Paradoxie: Nicht das Licht vertreibt die Dunkelheit, sondern das Licht erkennt sich im Licht. Die dargestellte Struktur braucht keinen Feind, keinen Kampf, keine Erlösung durch Ausschluss. Sie existiert durch Bewusstheit.

At first glance, the image appears like a symbolic map: no promise of salvation, no path with a beginning and an end, no moral lesson. It reminds us that humans stand between light and darkness, not to choose, but to recognize—not as masters of the elements, but as their bearers, not as the center of the universe, but as the permeable center of a greater harmony.

In the spirit of the newly emerging third novel in the series BIOGRAPHY IN ART,
“CRUSADE OF LOYALTY – Turning Away from the Self,” however, this order takes on a fundamentally different form.

The image remains formally the same—but its meaning shifts. A cosmic sketch of order becomes an inner test mark.

The Mortal Trinity no longer refers to tranquil wholeness, but to human entanglement. Body, mind, and soul appear as intertwined levels in which over-identification, masks, and glossy self-images become entrenched. The ego considers itself the center—and therein lies its deception. The trinity is no longer a stable core, but a field of tension that bears cracks.

The circle also loses its protective neutrality. It becomes a resonance chamber for action, in which oaths are sworn, roles are defended, and doubts are concealed. It does not mark completion, but rather the closed space of the self, which only becomes permeable through departure.

The elements transform from cosmic constants into inner forces of the novel:
Feuer erscheint als Eifer, Schwur und ideologische Unerschütterlichkeit.
Luft wird zum Gedanken, zur Rechtfertigung, zur Erzählung des eigenen Weges.
Erde zeigt sich als Pflicht, Bindung, Identität und Rolle.
Wasser trägt Sehnsucht, Zweifel und die leise Möglichkeit der Auflösung.

These forces are no longer in balance. They pull in different directions and feed the web of grand words and quiet doubts, of overflowing vows that take your breath away and masks that shine—until they break.

Light and darkness lose all moral clarity in the novel. Darkness is not evil, but rather a space of deception, self-image, and inner hardening. Light is not salvation, not a goal, not triumph. It only reveals itself where the ego ceases to assert itself. Truth is not revealed in victory, but in the silence after turning away.

This also means that „THE LIGHT – IN THE LIGHT“ into an imposition: not as an explanation, but as an experience beyond certainties. Light explains nothing. It remains.

In connection with „KREUZZUG DER TREUE – Abkehr vom Ich“ (engl: “CRUSADE OF LOYALTY – Turning Away from the Self”) the image thus encapsulates the central theme of the novel: fidelity is not loyalty to ideas, roles, or vows. It is the willingness to let go of the self—even where no new certainty awaits. The path back to the light does not lead through insight, but through renunciation. Not through strength, but through the shattering of masks. And not through the promise of salvation, but through the strength that remains when nothing more is held.
