A silent book series from the Academy of Wisdom
This series brings together books that do not seek to explain, but to accompany. They invite you to listen to language - where it becomes quiet. Where words do not instruct, but remind.
The books in this series revolve around timeless themes such as transience, truthfulness, the present, being a child, growing old and connection. In simple, clear language, they tell of inner experiences, transitions and what remains. Not poems in the classical sense - rather poetic prose, calm images, groping thoughts. Texts that cannot be categorised - and open up their space precisely in this way.
The series is divided into three streams:
📖 CONSIDERATIONS - The silent word of time - The silent word of time unfolds in a shared narrative in which words connect, give comfort and the past and future merge in the moment. An ongoing story of peace, in which each contribution carries the whole forward and sets signs of the times.
📖 PICTURES - The childlike word of time - The childlike word of time unfolds in a gentle narrative about transience, connectedness and the traces that everything leaves behind. In a collaborative writing game, children weave their words into a peace story that unites the past, present and future.
📖 BEZEUGUNGEN - The mature word of the time - The mature word of time unfolds in a narrative full of lived wisdom. Voices of the oldest generation weave memories, insights and silent truths into a timeless testimony of being human. Transience and permanence resonate in every word - a legacy for the present and a beacon for the future.
"POESIE & LYRIK" is an invitation to listen to the echo of silence and lose yourself in words - to find yourself in them.
The water, once calm, cast gentle waves on the still bottom. There, where time knew no haste, the light was caught in the reflections and dissolved as if it had never been. A touch, a breath - a quiet word, spoken from the depths of silence. And yet - it echoed.

This wood, interwoven with the signs of old times, had long since lived its life and left its mark. It crumbled in the hand that held it, just as if the wind had blown across the ground and driven through its furrows. Every touch followed a tiny change and only those who got up close to look at it could recognise the unifying element that held this piece together. When this playful gaze followed its own trail, entering the intimate space, that image joined the great play of life near and far, and everyone who ever touched the wood knew what the dust smelled like when the piece disintegrated ....
Writing a unifying story, each in their own language & expression. Following the previous one, so that the text forms an open and closed whole. One person writes, the next follows on from their text and 'spins' the story further.
GIVING PEACE - Children's hands between the ages of 8 and 11 write history together. A special kind of PEACE STORY that bears the signs of the times & gives PEACE.
