Has coaching in the traditional sense had its day? I don't think that's the question. It's more about making a clear agreement with yourself. If I look for someone to take a neutral look at my entrepreneurial activities or have someone find me, it should rather be this agreement that I make with myself. For myself, my development, my original vision, my company, my employees, business partners, my family, ... Every good athlete, every good team has a coach. What the press makes of this is now a moot point. Nobody can really "judge" his actions, we weren't there when he was coaching.
"It's being, this feeling, seeing through the feeling, what does my counterpart need right now? My feelings tell me exactly how things should proceed. Although I follow a concept, I often deviate from it because at some moments something else comes up than planned ..." said one of my coachees today.
A technique is useless if it is not felt, a view from above is useless if it is not allowed, an observer role is useless if one's own inner observer is not heard.
