An interplay of words, images and silence
The series IMAGE – LANGUAGE – ART leads language to the boundary at which what is said passes over into perception. Word, image, and silence meet one another as different forms of expression of an event that eludes mere understanding.
Across three works, a movement unfolds from the visible to the invisible: from the combination of poetry and photography, through philosophical-spiritual aphorisms, to a language whose in-between spaces themselves begin to speak.
Volume 1 – WISDOM OF BEING – Language in Word & Image
Poems by Kati Voß meet the photographs of Til Voß. Language and image stand opposite one another, touch, and open a shared space of perception between polarity and connection, movement and stillness, outer seeing and inner experience. The book itself describes the “loveliness of experiencing” language and image as an event in stillness and in the moment of seeing. (published February 2022, new edition to follow in 2026)
Volume 2 – TRUTH – WISDOM – STILLNESS – Leaving a Seed
Philosophical-spiritual aphorisms and their further reflections lead through questions of truth, freedom, love, humility, equanimity, and inner wisdom. The lines understand themselves as an opening to a perception that points beyond mere training of the intellect and gives space to one’s own inner wisdom. (published August 2022, new edition to follow in 2026)
Volume 3 – WORDS OF THE GAP – Stillness Speaks
Language becomes more permeable. Poems and poetic reflections move between closeness and distance, longing and emptiness, time and timelessness, I and Self. The in-between space becomes the true place of the book: that gap in which words recede and perception can arise. The foreword describes this space explicitly as an invitation to stillness and to a return to one’s own being. (published June 2022, new edition to follow in 2026)
IMAGE – LANGUAGE – ART follows a movement from seeing, through the word, into that stillness in which language touches its limit.
